The simple but cozy cottage is located in a small village on Lake Cambs, overlooking the field and lake. The garden and terrace invite you to linger, the lake is undeveloped and has a wonderful bathing area, which is within walking distance. You can go for walks or bike rides in the surrounding area. Schwerin city center with all its amenities and the beautiful castle is only 15 minutes away by car. The cottage has electricity and water, no hot water! There is a wood-burning stove, cooking facilities, kettle, coffee machine and a washing machine. Another house with 2 rooms and a bath tub are only available on request before booking, as instructions are needed. Please talk to me so that your stay is as you wish.
Nature and surroundings
The garden is home to many old fruit trees, berry bushes and a large greenhouse with old vines in it. Owls have already raised their young in the garden, there are hedgehogs, a kite that often flies over the cottage and starlings that sometimes flock across the sky. The woods nearby are rustic and sometimes deer graze outside the window, which you can see from your bed. The cottage is simple and anyone who loves nature will certainly feel at home here. Attention: there is sometimes a spider in the house. This is unavoidable!
