The Schutkooi consists of four characterful cottages located in the beating heart of the Maasheggen, each with its own terrace and views of the surrounding landscape. Three of the cottages are compact, attractively furnished tiny houses; the fourth is a spacious Tiny House XXL, with extra space and comfort for those looking for just a little more. One Tiny house overlooks the forest, where greenery extends to the front door. The other houses offer a wide view over meadows and open fields. Here you stay in the middle of the Maasheggengebied, an ancient landscape recognized by UNESCO as a biosphere reserve. You can feel the peace and quiet, nature is close by and yet you can reach Nijmegen and Venray within half an hour.

The Schutkooi is part of an organic farm on a natural mound in the floodplains of the Meuse River where people work and live with care. On the farm we offer day care to people who benefit from structure, rest and a meaningful day. This gives the place a genuine, warm atmosphere that guests immediately notice.
