For people with reduced mobility, the field and forest can be reached within 100 meters walk (paved). There are beautiful museums in Groningen, Leeuwarden, Eelde, Zwolle and Assen. Furthermore, camp Westerbork is worth a visit. Bicycles can possibly be rented in Westerbork. In the garden is an inhabited stork's nest.
