Nature house in Markelo

Everything was there in the cottage. Nice and fresh and clean. A very cozy cottage, and when we arrived, there was a fresh egg and some slices of currant bread waiting for us. So sweet.
However, during the night, the cows woke us up… but once we put in some earplugs, peace and quiet returned.
And when you wake up, you can already hear the birds singing… wonderful.

Alles was aanwezig in het huisje. Lekker fris schoon. Heel knus huisje en bij aankomst lag er een vers eitje en plakjes krentewegge klaar voor ons. Zo lief.
Wel waren er in de nacht koeien die ons uit de slaap haalde....maar een oordopje in en de rust was er weer.
En als je wakker wordt hoor je de vogels al zingen....heerlijk.

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet at this cottage. It’s spacious, and the natural surroundings are beautiful!
We did a lot of biking and hiking in the area. It’s a gorgeous wooded area with mushrooms and fall colors.
There are lots of old farmhouses—it’s wonderful to see them as you cycle through the area.
We went shopping in Rijssen, and the shopping street there was surprisingly charming.

Wij hebben enorm van de rust genoten in dit huisje. Het huisje is ruim. En de natuur in de omgeving prachtig!
Veel gefietst en gewandeld in de omgeving. Prachtige bosrijke omgeving met paddelstoelen en herfstkleuren.
Veel oude boerderijtjes wat prachtig is om te zien waar je in de omgeving langs fietst.
In Rijssen gewinkeld en dat was ook een verrassend leuk winkel straatje.

A very well-equipped wooden chalet on the farm grounds. You’ll need a car, though, since the farm is a 10-minute drive from the village. The surroundings, nestled among the meadows, are very peaceful, with the occasional mooing of cows—which is all part of the experience.

Zeer compleet houten chalet op het erf van de boerderij. Een auto is wel nodig omdat de boerderij op 10 minuten rijden van het dorp ligt. De omgeving tussen de weilanden is heel rustig, af en toe wat loeiende koeien wat er bij hoort.

Well-maintained, tidy, and plenty of supplies already provided. Toilet paper, coffee, tea, towels, and—upon arrival—two eggs and currant bread.

Goed onderhouden, netjes en veel producten al aanwezig. Toiletpapier, koffie, thee, handdoeken en bij aankomst twee eitjes en krentenbrood.

There’s some farm activity on the property, but that’s just part of the experience, of course. The cottage is great—spacious, clean, cozy, and equipped with many amenities. There’s also a nice outdoor seating area with garden cushions.

Er is bedrijvigheid van de boerderij op het terrein, maar dat hoort er natuurlijk bij. Huisje is super, ruim, netjes en sfeervol en van vele gemakken voorzien. Lekker zitje buiten met tuinkussens ook.
