Nature house in Maarn

Lovely cottage, with a nice atmosphere. Very nice that it is so completely furnished! Fine beds, many games and filled bookcase available. We made wonderful use of the bathtub. Much and fine garden furniture available, so there was much to live outside. The absence of a TV was an advantage, the dishwasher a little less :). And for a combined family of 6 persons, with (among others) adolescent children, we would have liked a separate toilet.

Heerlijk huisje, met een fijne sfeer. Heel prettig dat het zo compleet is ingericht! Fijne bedden, veel spelletjes en gevuld boekenkastje aanwezig. Van het ligbad hebben we heerlijk gebruik gemaakt. Veel en fijn tuinmeubilair aanwezig, waardoor er veel buiten geleefd kon worden. De afwezigheid van een tv vonden we een pre, die van de afwasmachine iets minder :). En voor een samengesteld gezin van 6 personen, met (oa) puber-kinders zouden we het fijn gevonden hebben als er een apart toilet was geweest.

Lovely large woodland garden, where - between all the rain showers - we had a great time playing, napping and eating. From the house we enjoyed all the birds that came to feed right outside the windows: great tits, woodpeckers (!) and blue tits galore: beautiful! Because the cottage is located at the very edge of the vacation park, in the garden you have no idea at all that you are on a vacation park. Proximity to the Henschotermeer is theoretically fantastic.... Too bad it is fenced off, and only accessible for a fee. Furthermore, the environment Utrechtse Heuvelrug is great: forest, heath, sand plains ...

Heerlijk grote bostuin, waar we - tussen alle regenbuien door - heel fijn hebben gespeeld, geluierd en gegeten. We hebben vanuit het huisje enorm genoten van alle vogels die vlak voor de ramen voedsel kwamen halen: koolmezen, spechten (!) en pimpelmezen bij de vleet: prachtig! Omdat het huisje helemaal aan de rand van het vakantiepark ligt, heb je in de tuin helemaal niet het idee dat je op een vakantiepark zit. Nabijheid van het Henschotermeer is in theorie fantastisch... Jammer dat het met hekken afgesloten is, en alleen tegen betaling toegankelijk is. Verder is de omgeving Utrechtse Heuvelrug geweldig: bos, hei, zandvlaktes...

The cottage is very cozy and cozy, it so wonderful to stay there, especially during the winter months. We were there at the turn of the year. The owner really thought of everything. You don't have to bring anything with you. Moreover, the bathroom was recently renovated and it was really nice.

Het huisje is heel gezellig en knus, het dus heerlijk er te vertoeven, zeker tijdens de wintermaanden. Wij waren er rond de jaarwisseling. Door de eigenaresse is werkelijk aan alles gedacht. Je hoeft niets mee te nemen. De badkamer was bovendien recentelijk vernieuwd en die was echt heel mooi.

The nature around the "snail house" is beautiful, in the middle of the forest. It is wonderfully peaceful and quiet. You can make beautiful walks there. The Henschotermeer lake is nearby.

De natuur rond het 'slakkenhuisje' is prachtig, midden in het bos. Het is er heerlijk rustig en stil. Je kunt er prachtige wandelingen maken. Het Henschotermeer ligt vlakbij.

Friendly reception. Everything was thought of. Lovely spacious bath.

Vriendelijke ontvangst. Er is aan alles gedacht. Heerlijk ruim bad.

Beautiful woodland garden where many birds can be seen. Quiet location. Lake is very close by.

Prachtige bostuin waar veel vogeltjes te zien zijn. Rustig gelegen. Meer is heel dichtbij.
