Our spacious green property gives place to 5 varied accommodations. The well-insulated 3-bedroom safari lodge is a sturdy and surprisingly spacious wooden house with a covered veranda. It is equipped with a shower, bathtub and separate toilet. The kitchen has a 4-burner cooking unit and a large fridge-freezer. From the veranda you overlook the animal pasture: a fat nod to distant savannahs, where more dangerous animals prowl around than our chickens, sheep and pigs. It is a wonderful place for a couple, but also for e.g. a family with grandparents. After a day of playing outside and discovering the environment, you can enjoy a barbecue and a game on the large wooden veranda. Your beds are of course made by us. Your towels are also provided. Nature and surroundings
The residence is in the midst of farmland. You walk along the fields to the flowering hawthorn hedges in the Maasheggen: the oldest cultural landscape of the Netherlands. Endlessly wander along the adventurous boot path in this unique Unesco area. Or cycling for miles on road bikes, mountain bikes or city bikes along the many cycling routes. Perhaps renting a boat or a pair of electric scooters to explore the area is also a good idea? Less than 12 km away are the Kraaijenbergse Plassen, for a cooling dip and other entertainment. At about the same distance, just across the border, is the Ketelwald, a beautiful link to other nature reserves, such as Millingerwaard and Rijnuiterwaarden, Haterse Vennen, Maasduinen, Veluwe and Eifel. For older people the beds might be a little low. But for us youngsters totally fine. Were comfortable. Fine also, mosquito nets in the rooms with two beds; a single mosquito flew around. The sofa by the pellet stove is very spacious. Be careful when you sit down; it will not spring along. ;-) Very nice were also the natural products in the house. And delicious bath salts ready for use. A very nice bath, which lives up to its name.The hostess was very hospitable. If you missed something, you could always call her. Mooi ruim huisje, met een geweldige veranda waar je heerlijk kon zitten. We waren met ons tweeën en een hond, dus we hadden alle ruimte voor onszelf.

Mooie slaapkamers. Voor ouderen zullen de bedden misschien iets laag zijn. Maar voor ons jonkies helemaal prima. Lagen lekker. Fijn ook, klamboes in de kamers met twee bedden; er vloog een enkele mug rond.
De bank bij de pelletkachel is heel ruim. Wel oppassen als je gaat zitten; hij zal niet meeveren. ;-)
Heel fijn waren ook de natuurlijke producten in het huis. En heeerlijk badzout dat klaarstaat voor gebruik. Een heel fijn ligbad, die haar naam eer aandoet.
De gastvrouw was zeer gastvrij. Als je iets mist, mocht je haar altijd bellen.
