(A 2-bedroom, a 3-bedroom, and a 4-bedroom with two primitive bunk beds). Our well-insulated safari lodge is a surprisingly spacious and yet cozy wooden house, located on a mini vacation park! The bathroom has a large shower, bathtub and separate toilet. The kitchen has a 4-burner cooking unit and a large fridge-freezer. From the veranda you overlook the animal pasture: a fat nod to distant savannahs, where more dangerous animals prowl around than our chickens and pigs. It's a wonderful place for couples, but also for one or two families, or for a family with grandparents joining them. After a day of playing outside and discovering the environment, you can enjoy a barbecue and a game on the large wooden veranda. Your beds will of course be made by us. Your towels are also provided. And the final cleaning? We'll do it. Pellets for the stove can be ordered on the spot (Eur 8.50 per bag).

The residence is in the midst of farmland. You walk along the fields to the flowering hawthorn hedges in the Maasheggen: the oldest cultural landscape of the Netherlands. Endless strolling along the adventurous boot path in this unique Unesco area. Or cycling for miles on road bikes, mountain bikes or city bikes along the many cycling routes. Perhaps renting a boat or a pair of electric scooters to explore the area is also a good idea? Less than 12 km away are the Kraaijenbergse Plassen, for a cooling dip and other entertainment. At about the same distance, just across the border, is the Ketelwald, a beautiful link to other nature reserves, such as Millingerwaard and Rijnuiterwaarden, Haterse Vennen, Maasduinen, Veluwe and Eifel. (Psst of course there is nothing wrong with a little strolling around on your own property, it's lovely to be there too ;-)
