The newly built guesthouse 'Wulp' is part of an authentic Texel farmhouse. On the ground floor is the living room with a sliding glass door overlooking the large yard. The living room has a sitting area and a dining area. There is a countertop with kettle, Nespresso machine, coffee maker and egg cooker. There is also a refrigerator and a microwave/oven. There is no cooking facilities but all the amenities to make breakfast or lunch. The spacious bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and sink. The loft has a comfortable double bed and the room has a large tilt window overlooking the meadows and the dike of the mud flats. Bed linen and towels are provided by us. The guesthouse has a terrace facing south east. Here you can relax in complete silence. On the ground floor there is underfloor heating and a radiator, on the bedroom a radiator. There is fiber optic internet. Bed linen and towels are provided.
Nature and surroundings
The Wadden side of Texel has a very different atmosphere, no tourist crowds but an oasis of peace and space on our organic estate/ orchard, a nature plot where we sow wild herbs and plants. Our yard and garden are an oasis for insects and wild birds. We cater to nature lovers who love peace and quiet. The nature house is one hundred meters from the World Heritage Site of the Wadden Sea. A bicycle route along the dike takes you past several special nature reserves that are important breeding and foraging areas for numerous birds. On the way to the fishing village of Oudeschild there is a beach where you can take a refreshing dip in the salty water. The vacation home is located 1 kilometer from the picturesque village of Oosterend. The historic village has a supermarket, a bicycle rental and a number of cozy eateries. In front of our door is a stop of the Texelhopper that takes you to and from the ferry.
