The guesthouse had many authentic features: steps leading up and down, an upstairs room, shutters... The vintage decor complemented it perfectly. A wonderful stay with a farmhouse atmosphere. It was also very spacious. Plus, almost everything we needed was there. So we ended up cooking quite often, which is unusual for us.

Het gastenhuis had veel authentieke elementen: op- en afstapjes, een opkamer, luiken.. De vintage inrichting paste daar goed bij. Een heerlijk verblijf met een boerderijsfeer. Ook heel ruim. Verder was bijna alles aanwezig. We hebben dan ook vaak gekookt voor ons doen.

A spacious guesthouse with a lovely, large garden. We spotted quite a few birds while sitting in the garden, and a squirrel that made an occasional appearance. There were several seating areas, so you could sit in the sun or in the shade. The greenery was a bit wilted due to the drought of the past few months. During the day, it was wonderfully quiet. If you sat outside in the evening, you could hear the cars on the state road. You couldn’t hear them inside, though.
The chickens were let out for part of the day, which was really charming.

Een ruim gastenhuis met een heerlijke grote tuin. We hebben heel wat vogels kunnen spotten zittend in de tuin. Naast een eekhoorn die zich af en toe liet zien. Er waren verschillende zitjes, zodat je in de zon of in de schaduw kon verblijven. Het groen was wat verdord door de droogte van de afgelopen maanden. Overdag was het heerlijk stil. Als je buiten zat 's avonds hoorde je wel de auto's op de provinciale weg. Binnen was dat niet te horen.
De kippen waren een deel van de dag los en dat was heel gezellig.

Wij hadden een fantastisch verblijf, we voelden ons erg welkom in het huis en de tuin.

A fantastically beautiful house, decorated with great taste and care. A lovely, spacious garden with plenty of cozy seating areas and shade for hot days—truly an oasis. The house is located on a road leading into the village, but you can hardly hear any traffic. The house stays wonderfully cool during heat waves. The immediate area offers the Maas River for longer bike rides or hikes. To reach charming little towns, it’s a bit of a longer bike ride or a short drive.

Fantastisch mooi huis, heel smaakvol en liefdevol ingericht. Mooie, ruime tuin met veel fijne zitjes, en schaduw voor de warme dagen, echt een oase. Het huis ligt aan een weg het dorp in, maar het verkeer is niet of nauwelijks hoorbaar. Het huis is heerlijk koel tijdens hitte. De directe omgeving biedt de Maas voor langere fietstochten of wandeltochten. Voor leuke stadjes is het wat langer fietsen of met de auto.
