Nature house in Markelo

Spend the night at our beautiful place, in the Schöppe renovated in 2021 at our monumental farmhouse. The Farmhouse and the Schöppe were both in a dilapidated state in 2017, and have been completely renovated with respect for the buildings. We have tried to keep the old elements in the Schöppe to maintain an authentic cozy atmosphere. Warmth and geniality was the starting point. This nature house is a cozy country apartment with its own entrance. All rooms are on the ground floor. You have a fully equipped kitchen with its own cooking facilities fridge and microwave. A spacious dining table and a cozy sitting area. In this spacious room you have the possibility to use the wood stove. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. There is a large walk-in shower with toilet and wash table. And a freestanding toilet. Outside the apartment you have a terrace with garden furniture.

This nature house is a rural apartment in the hamlet of Elsen located between the towns of Rijssen and Markelo. Markelo is one of the oldest villages in Twente. The landscape has many rolling Essen. These five hills are ideal for walking and cycling routes. During one of these routes you might just run into a flock of sheep, the sheepfold can be found on the Borkeld. Around Markelo you will find mainly agricultural hamlets. We are a great starting point for cycling enthusiasts who want to enjoy nature and culture. In the apartment are already several routes for you. The City of Rijssen also has a rich cultural history. The surrounding nature is beautiful.
