This detached recreation house (120 m2) is located behind our farm on the water and has a beautiful view over the meadows. The house has ample parking and a private entrance. Spacious living room (80m2) with sliding door to terrace (Z) with awning. Spacious bathroom on the ground floor with underfloor heating, bath, separate shower and 2 sinks. 1 separate toilet. Kitchen with oven and 4 burner ceramic hob, refrigerator and dishwasher. Terrace with decking on the water facing south. 1st floor accessible via spiral staircase. Bedroom with double bed (bed 1.80x2.00) with air conditioning. 1 small bedroom with double bed (bed 1.60x2.00) * Covered bicycle storage. * Breakfast service possible. Ask for our extensive breakfast menu.
Nature and surroundings
Our B&Bs and recreation house are located on the 5500 m2 grounds of a beautiful farm dating from 1720 and almost entirely surrounded by water located in the Worldwide unique stroke landscape. In our yard, our dog, chickens and moose walk around freely. The sheep are behind a fence. In the landscape you can spot many (water) birds and hares. The monumental building is one of the oldest farms on this road. Those who drive up the cast-iron drawbridge imagine themselves back in time. One old farmhouse after another leads you along the rural area which turns into a silence area. The farming landscape in Krimpenerwaard offers tranquility, beautiful nature and many opportunities for walking, boating or cycling. But the possibility of the hustle and bustle and conviviality in the nearby historic town of Gouda (5 km) is also a nice change. Gouda and many other picturesque villages and towns offer plenty of nice hospitality and cosiness.

Charlotte April 15, 2022 General rating:Het was heerlijk! Nancy en Banier zijn vriendelijk en toegankelijk. De bedden sliepen héél fijn. Het terras aan het water was een favoriete plek! De badkamer was van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is duidelijk zorg besteed aan de inrichting van het huisje.
Nature, peace & environment:Vanuit het huisje heb je een prachtig uitzicht op de weilanden en het water. En genoeg om te zien: er waren reigers, zwanen, konijntjes en lammetjes. Heel leuk dat er een goede verrekijker in het huis staat om alles goed te kunnen bekijken :)
