As soon as you enter the park you imagine yourself in another world. It has a bright, green appearance where birds twitter merrily. The little park is located directly on the Dwingelderveld National Park. When you step out the door you are directly in this beautiful nature reserve. Nature lends itself perfectly to many activities, sporting or otherwise. 2 km from the park is the center of the village of Dwingeloo. This village is one of the most beautiful green villages in Drenthe. In the cozy center you will find the basic facilities and many restaurants with nice terraces. The Dwingelderveld is known for the presence of beautiful hiking trails, cycling routes and even horseback riding is possible.
