Peace and Space. In our cozy cabin you can enjoy the forestry Ruinen in the front yard and 10 min cycling 't Dwingelderveld in the backyard. Your stay has 2 comfortable beds, shower and compost toilet and a kitchenette with 1pits induction hob and fridge. From your raised terrace you have a view of the farmland. While enjoying a glass of wine you can watch the sun set. From the edge of our yard with its own entrance you can discover the glory of Ruinen. Your Shepherd's hut is sustainable and ecological, but is equipped with all comforts. The accommodation is on the edge of the plot. In the morning you may discover a few deer, the squirrel in the bush next to you and the swallows soaring over the fields. The accommodation is of durable construction and well insulated. You have two beds, which you can make into sofas during the day, an attractive wood stove as well as electric heating. Please note no WiFi. Nature and surroundings
The Heerlijckheid Ruinen does not keep its name in honor for nothing. Cycling and walking are here for days with heathland, forests and fens within walking distance. You can cycle extensively in the Dwingelderveld and for day trips are also The Drenths-Friese Forest and the moors in Havelte easily accessible. Along the way you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and lunch in many places. But also within walking distance you can have lunch, brunch. Drenthe is pre-eminently the province for cycling and walking shoes. In the woods opposite your stay are several hiking trails and beautiful bike paths. But also the Dwingelerveld lends itself perfectly for a day of natural enjoyment. You can leave your car at rest on our property.
