A wonderful place to spend the night. Welcome to our new forest cottage in Beerze! Surrounded by forest, you will feel like you are somewhere else for a while. Have a nice meal together at the long picnic table on the terrace or enjoy the wooded surroundings from the house. The forest cottage is equipped with all conveniences. A cozy living room, with adjacent veranda. The kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and a nespresso coffee machine. The cottage can accommodate 4 persons. The first bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed. The second bedroom on the second floor has two single beds. Also, the cottage has a luxury bathroom with washer and dryer that are free for guests to use. Next to the cottage is a shed for any rented or brought bicycles. Please note that the house is located 100 meters from an N-road. The sound of this road will be heard during your stay.
Nature and surroundings
Our cottage is located in the middle of the forest area with many recreational opportunities in the Overijsselse Vechtdal. The cottage is located near a through road and is easily accessible within a km from public transport. With many hiking possibilities, including the Pieterpad and Vechtdalpad in the area, you are in the perfect place for ultimate relaxation. Enjoying a beautiful view on the shore or in the boat on the Vecht. Everything is possible! You will be amazed by all the beautiful natural areas and sights, not to mention all the special animals. Besides the beautiful hiking trails is Ommen (11 km) and Hardenberg (9 km) easily accessible by bicycle where all facilities are at your disposal. The supermarket is within walking and/or cycling distance in Mariënberg. Also do not forget to plan an outing towards the recreational lake the Oldemeijer. Really a lovely cottage, fully equipped. From every window you can see the forest.
Echt een heerlijk huisje, van alle gemakken voorzien. Vanuit elk raam zie je het bos.

The house is spacious enough and tastefully decorated. In fact, it appealed to us so much that we immediately started painting our walls green after we got home! The garden set was a welcome addition and an outbuilding is in the works to store bikes and relax in an infrared cabin. The 160cm wide bed was a bit narrow for us, but then we are not the easiest in terms of sleeping comfort. We had asked for 2 single comforters instead of a double and that was nicely arranged. The WiFi hotspots was a bit problematic because the charger did not work properly.

De tuinset was een welkome aanvulling en er is een bijgebouw in de maak om fietsen te stallen en te relaxen in een infrarood cabine. Het bed van 160cm breed was voor ons wat smal, maar wij zijn dan ook niet de makkelijkste qua slaapcomfort. We hadden om 2 1-persoons dekbedden gevraagd i.p.v. een tweepersoons en dat was netjes geregeld. De WiFi hotspots was wat problematisch omdat de lader niet goed werkte.
