Nature house in Groet

A spacious vacation home for 4 at the dune foot in Groet. The house has a private entrance, a sunny screened garden with covered verranda/terrace and an in-ground trampoline. From the garden you overlook the nature reserve 'De Schoorlse Duinen'.The spacious open indoor space is connected to the veranda and garden by a glass sliding door.Inside is a spacious sitting area with corner sofa and a long dining table with seating for 6-8 people. For the darker days there is a wood stove and a cozy sitting area. The practical open kitchen is equipped with all the basic necessities: a 5 burner stove with oven, refrigerator, coffee maker (nespresso), microwave and kettle. Two spacious bedrooms offer sleeping space for 4 people. One room has a double bed and the other has 2 single beds.Bed linen included. There is plenty of play space (inside and outside) for children, there are also toys for young children.

The house is located on the edge of the dunes in Groet. The entrance to the dunes is 30 meters from the property. From the garden and the bedrooms there is a view of the nature reserve and one minute's walk away is one of the three climbing dunes. The beach can be reached on foot in 30 minutes or by bicycle in 10 minutes. By car you can reach the spacious parking lot of Hargen aan zee in less than 10 min.The cottage is located on the brink around the beautiful white church, where plenty of parking spaces.The Schoorl Dunes are the highest and widest dunes in the Netherlands. More than 60 kilometers of hiking trails and numerous bicycle routes lead through the oldest forests or the shifting dunes. There is a wide choice of beaches, such as Hargen aan zee, Schoorl aan zee and Camperduin.Groet is a small village where it is good to spend any time of the year. Cozy cafes and restaurants, a neighborhood supermarket, bike rental and the bus stop are all within a few minutes walk.
