A comfortable nature house for up to 2 adults, nestled among country estates in Salland and close to the Sallandse Heuvelrug, the Vecht Valley, and the IJssel Valley. The nature house is located in the countryside just a stone’s throw from Heino in Overijssel and is fully equipped. It features a comfortable sitting and dining area, a fully equipped open kitchen (including tea and coffee—filters and milk—sugar, salt and pepper, oil and vinegar, and dish soap), a spacious double bed, and a bathroom. French doors open onto the furnished patio, which borders on natural beauty, including organic farmland and woods. The nature house stands completely detached on the grounds of our farmhouse, which is located on the ’t Rozendael / Nijenhuis Estate. The Heino train station (on the Zwolle–Almelo line) is within a 10-minute walk, while the centers of Heino (2 km) and Raalte (5 km) are also nearby for grocery shopping. Unfortunately, the nature house is not accessible to wheelchairs or walkers, and pets are not allowed.
Nature and surroundings
Many historic country estates, such as Het Nijenhuis Castle (De Fundatie Museum) near Heino, and the Den Alerdinck, De Colckhof, and ’t Rozendael estates, are situated in a beautiful green setting that you can explore by bike or on foot. In Salland, within De Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park, you can wander through rolling heathlands and vast forests. Or visit the charming Hanseatic cities of Zwolle and Deventer. Other charming towns with a tourist-friendly atmosphere in Overijssel include Raalte, Dalfsen, Ommen, and Nijverdal. In Gelderland, on the other side of the IJssel River (Wijhe ferry), Heerde and Epe are also worth a visit.
