Detached cottage (+/- 30 m2) with private garden and private parking. The cottage is located behind our house on a private lot with separate access and very much privacy. The accommodation (2019) is modern and well equipped including a full kitchen with oven and dishwasher, a lovely bed (1.60x2.00) and a modern bathroom with toilet and shower). At 400 meters from the house is a (walking) entrance to the Schoorl dunes. The center of Schoorl is about 1 kilometer and the center of Bergen about 3 kilometers. The cottage has solar or wind energy and there is possibly a possibility of charging an electric car in our own parking lot. All bed and bath linen is included.
Nature and surroundings
The Schoorl Dunes are the highest and widest dunes in the Netherlands. According to Staatsbosbeheer, "The dunes of Schoorl are a paradise for nature lovers. Open dunes are interspersed with dense forests and wet plains. Unique are the heathlands. You will find them almost nowhere in the dunes". Besides walking and cycling in nature, there is plenty to enjoy the extensive restaurant offerings in Bergen and Schoorl. A visit to museum Kranenburg is also very worthwhile.And not to forget; the most beautiful white beaches of the Netherlands.
