In 1 word: sublime! Never before have we stayed in such a large, fully equipped and characteristic old vacation home. Beautiful views also from the balcony. And fine barbecue available. In real life the house is much larger and more beautiful than in the pictures. After a very warm welcome with a surprise basket full of goodies, we and the children enjoyed this place for a week. The saltwater pool (so no strong chlorine smell or dry skin) and the play basement with pool table (not a table tennis table as it says in the text, which appears to be a translation error) were a great success. The mattresses are firm, which I personally liked. Over an hour's drive from the beautiful city of Porto. And also closer to home there is much to see and experience. The hostess gives great tips for this. We did not have a dog with us but even that could have been good, with an outlet field opposite the cottage. I would definitely recommend it and do not rule out coming again.

Na een zeer hartelijk ontvangst met als verrassing een mand vol lekkers hebben wij samen met de kinderen een week lang genoten van deze plek. Het zoutwaterzwembad (geen sterke chloorlucht dus of droge huid) en de speelkelder met pooltafel (geen tafeltennistafel zoals in de tekst staat, dat blijkt een vertaalfout) waren een groot succes. De matrassen zijn stevig, wat ik zelf prettig vond.
Ruim een uur rijden van de prachtige stad Porto. En ook dichterbij huis is er veel te zien en beleven. De gastvrouw geeft mooie tips hiervoor.
We hadden zelf geen hond mee maar ook dat had goed gekund, met een uitlaatveldje tegenover het huisje.
