Do you love the outdoors? Come to Woerdense Verlaat, near the Nieuwkoopse Plassen. Discover the peace and quiet of the countryside. These beautiful nature houses are located 200 meters from the public road, in the meadow. Stroll through the meadows or sit by the water with your fishing rod. When building these nature houses, we used circular building materials as much as possible. For example, grass insulation and wool from our own sheep for the house walls. Solar water heaters on the roof provide hot water and underfloor heating! The floor is made of recycled concrete. Wastewater is treated in a helophyte filter. All cabins are equipped with their own shower and a dry composting toilet. A kitchenette with a refrigerator and stovetop is provided. In front of the haystack cabin, you’ll find a fishing pier and a picnic table; there are also children’s puzzles, farm games, and books to read. Farm tours are available by appointment. A trampoline, sandbox, rowboats, and canoes are available. There’s a private fire pit for roasting marshmallows.

Lusthof De Haeck is within walking distance, featuring beautiful hiking trails and an observation tower overlooking the Plassen. The Westveensepolder route is also highly recommended.
