Welcome to our characteristic Bed&Breakfast farmhouse dating from 1790! Many traditional elements have been preserved in this farmhouse at the gateway to the hill country. Walls covered with loam and straw, oak floors and beams, low doors and cheerful colors. In the spacious backyard with fruit trees and meadow flowers, you can relax in the hammock to your heart's content. If you want to increase the heart rate a bit, jump into the natural swimming pond. We have 2, double rooms with both private bathrooms. The rooms are located on the First floor. The price is per night, per room and without breakfast, which can be added through the extras. There is no cooking facilities on site, but we are happy to refer you to restaurants nearby. The sauna in the garden is optional for 45 euros per 3 hours. incl towels and bathrobes. For consecutive days use of the sauna 35 euros per session. Bathing clothes desired.
Nature and surroundings
Explore Limburg further? Behind the Hofke you can walk straight into the rolling fields, with the Geleenbeek valley near Thull within walking distance. Here lies the oldest Limburg family brewery Alfa Bier, with tours of the brewery or "pimping" in the tasting room so you walk backwards back to the B&B. Down the street is Amstenrade with its castle and castle park and some nice restaurants and stores. A 15-minute drive from the Hofke is Valkenburg and Sittard, a 25-minute drive takes you to historic burgundy Maastricht.
