This nature house is the completely converted back part of our monumental farmhouse. The nature house has all its own amenities for a wonderful stay. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and dining area a cozy sitting area, wood stove and a private terrace. You can use a sun terrace with sun beds and there is a service area with a washer and dryer
Nature and surroundings
Our beautiful Saxon farm is located on the edge of the National Park Het Dwingelderveld. It was built around 1614 and is therefore one of the oldest farms in Drenthe. Various elements remind of the old function as living and working accommodation for people and livestock. The old trusses are still visible in various places in the building. In addition, the old bedstead is fully tact, as well as the pompestraat the place where all the wet work was done.Garden and yard. The yard and land have a total area of three acres. Against the front facade of the farm, three century-old pollard lime trees stand as ancient sentinels. In front of the farmhouse is the old orchard. Between old beech and hawthorn hedges here are many tall-stemmed fruit trees of very old varieties. Within the hedges, according to ancient Drenthe tradition, is the vegetable garden. The orchard is open at many times of the year.

Anneke General rating:Een heel fijn en compleet huisje met goede bedden. Het huisje kijkt uit op een mooie tuin.
Nature, peace & environment:Rondom het huisje is het groen en landelijk. Je loopt vanuit het huisje zo het bos in.
