Welcome nature lover to our cozy nature house. The accommodation has recently been completely renovated and made ready for rental to 2-4 people. It includes a fully equipped kitchen to enjoy a delicious breakfast or meal. Coffee and tea are included in the rental price. The living room is cozy with (sleeping) couch, rocking chair and a dining table with 4 chairs. A large chessboard table is available for a fun game night. The bathroom is luxuriously furnished with a nice hot shower, toilet and sink. Upstairs is the bedroom with a double bed with quality mattresses and plenty of storage space for all your clothes. You also have access to two terraces where you can enjoy the sun or light a fire. In the garden there is a gazebo with cushions, a fire basket and a freezer. We hope to see you soon! (For small children and pets, our house is unfortunately not suitable)
Nature and surroundings
Nature reserve Kaldenbroek is located in the old arm of the Meuse between Grubbenvorst and Lottum in northern Limburg. At the edge of the nature reserve lies Kaldenbroek Castle from the 14th century which is rented out by Het Limburgs Landschap as a nature house. At the castle yard you will also find a small brasserie and also our nature house. The rose village Lottum is located next to asparagus village Grubbenvorst, right on the Maas. You could call the Rozenhof in Lottum the stage for the Dutch rose sector: lovers will fully enjoy themselves here! With the ferry across the Maas you arrive in Arcen within 20 minutes by bike. There, in addition to the picturesque village center of Arcen, you will find the versatile Kasteeltuinen - laid out around a historic country estate with a 17th-century castle. Also nearby are a thermal spa and the Hertog-Jan beer brewery. From Arcen it is not far to the German border, where asparagus village Walbeck and the cozy town of Straelen and Geldern are worth a visit!
