Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located in the Dutch-German border region, on a 2-hectare plot of wooded land. It sits right at the steep edge of the high terrace formed by the Meuse River in times long past. This natural landscape is ideal for hiking, biking, and sports (mountain biking). From the log cabin, there are several (through) hiking trails, such as the Belfeld-Bracht-Kaldenkirchen route. Hikers on the Pieterpad and the Santiago de Compostela routes also pass by the nature house. As you walk, you can enjoy this unique landscape in complete peace and quiet. Near the log cabin is also the starting point for the cycling routes of North and Central Limburg. From here, you can explore the beautiful surroundings via the junction-based route network. You can also visit the dam complex on the Meuse River or the historic monastery village of Steijl. Via the A73, the cities of Venlo and Roermond (home to the designer outlet center) are just a 15-minute drive away for a day of shopping.

The cottage is great. There’s a loft bedroom, which is perfect for the two of us but less suitable for families. The covered porch is nice, with a view of the beautiful wooded garden and pond. The bed is comfortable.
het huisje is prima. er is een slaapzolder, prima voor ons met zijn 2en maar voor gezinnen minder geschikt. de overdekte veranda is fijn met zicht op de prachtige bostuin en vijver. bed is goed.
The location couldn't be better. We had a wonderful time. The woods next to the cottage are beautiful, and you even have your own private forest.
Qua locatie niet te overtreffen. We hebben het heerlijk gehad. De bossen naast het huisje zijn prachtig en je hebt zelf ook een eigen privé bos.
