This charming vacation apartment in Monschau-Mützenich is ideal for up to 4 people and is located in a historic, listed farmhouse. With three bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, it offers plenty of space for families or couples. A small terrace in front of the house invites you to relax, while the wood-burning stove in the living area provides a cozy atmosphere. An outdoor seating area is available for private use, perfect for guests with a small dog (up to 20 kg), which they are welcome to bring with them. The accommodation uses solar energy and offers storage space for bicycles. Guests can enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the meadows with mountain views. The village center is only 800 m away and a grocery store is only 1,000 m away. The landlords live on the property, which guarantees a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. Note: Historic building with low ceilings! For a comfortable stay only suitable for guests up to 1.90 m tall.
Nature and surroundings
Mützenich is ideal for hiking and cycling tours. The surrounding forests in the Eifel National Park invite you to explore, as do the Eifelsteig and the Hohe Venn, the highest upland moor in Europe. A round trip on the Rursee is a relaxing way to enjoy nature. The Vennbahn cycle path, which was opened in 2012 and runs along the former railroad line between Aachen and Luxembourg, makes for pleasant cycling tours. In addition, many sights such as the picturesque old town of Monschau, which is known for its half-timbered architecture, are within easy walking distance. There, visitors can enjoy local culinary delights and experience the idyllic atmosphere of the Eifel.
