Nature house in Groote Keeten

Beautiful location, large lawn—ideal for the dogs.
But it needs a lot of work.
I stayed there last year, too; back then there was still a guest booklet, and I noted then that a lot needed to be changed. Now, this year, nothing has been done, and it’s another year older.

Mooie ligging,groot gazon,ideaal voor de honden.
Maar moet erg veel aan gedaan worden.
Vorig jaar ook geweest, toen lag er nog een boekje voor de gasten,toen ook ingeschreven dat er veel veranderd moet worden,nu dit jaar,niks aan gedaan en weer een jaar verouderd.

Cute little cottage, but very run-down and outdated. Everything is old and practically worn out.
The front door is practically falling apart at the bottom, the faucet is leaking, and the windows (with window bars) don’t close properly.
The grass is very tall; the hedge has been trimmed, but the clippings are piled up in the corners of the yard. There are a lot of spiders in the cottage. The bedding didn’t smell fresh—luckily, we brought our own.
The toilet seat is loose, and the flush handle has broken.

Schattig huisje,maar erg verpauperd en gedateerd.Alles is oud en zo goed als afgedankt.
Voordeur,valt bijna aan de onderkant uit elkaar,kraan lekt,ramen (dieveklauwen) gaan niet goed dicht.
Gras erg hoog,Haag gesnoeid,maar alles ligt met hopen in de hoeken van de tuin.Veel spinnen in het huisje.Beddegoed rook niet fris,gelukkig zelf mee genomen.
Wc bril ligt los,doorspoelknop is kapot gegaan.

I can't believe this cottage is being rented out. We walked in and the floor was covered in dog hair. There was a large spider population. The bed was covered in dirty spots. We started by giving the place a thorough cleaning (as much as possible). The vacuum cleaner brush was full of dirty dog hair.
The gas stove was too dirty to look at. So we left a day early. This was our first time here, but definitely our last.

Begrijp niet dat dit huisje verhuurd wordt. We kwamen binnen en de vloer lag vol met hondenharen. De spinnen bevolking was rijk vertegenwoordigd. Het bed was vol met vieze plekken. We hebben eerst maar een grote ( voor zover mogelijk was) schoonmaak gehouden. De borstel van de stofzuiger zat vol vieze honden haren.
Het gasfornuis was te vies om aan te zien. We zijn dan ook een dag eerder vertrokken. Voor ons hier de 1e keer maar zeker de laatste keer.

Unfortunately, the toilet bowl wobbles and we first ran a vacuum cleaner through the cottage to get all the dust and cobwebs off the ceilings. After that it was enjoyable

Helaas wiebelt de wc pot en hebben we eerst een stofzuiger door het huisje gehaald om alle stof en spinrag van de plafonds te halen. Daarna was het genieten geblazen

We enjoyed staying at the Sande. Yes, the kitchenette and bathroom are old, but that has its charm. Everything worked fine. The cottage is very close to the beach.

We hebben genoten van het verblijf in de Sande. Ja, het keukentje en de badkamer zijn oud, maar dat heeft zo z’n charme. Allles deed het prima. Het huisje ligt heel dicht bij het strand.
