As of March 2023, the B&B has opened a new apartment in addition to the 2 guest rooms! This nature house is for up to 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children. It has one bedroom, with attached bathroom (walk-in shower, 2 sinks, mirrored closet, hair dryer, closet with 3 shelves and 1 hanging area) and French doors to the private patio. The toilet is located in the hall between the bedroom and kitchen/living room. A crib can be added if desired and made up for €10. There is a large living room with open kitchen, equipped with oven, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, dishwasher, stove, utensils and crockery. In the living room there is a double sofa bed suitable for 2 children or 1 adult. There is also a flat-screen television and internet access. The nature house is accessed through a private entrance.
Nature and surroundings
The farm (where the apartment is in the yard) is located in the Dutch peat meadow area in the middle of the Green Heart. A special place where the spaciousness of the polder and the pleasant bustle of the cities meet. There are several villages and historic towns within walking and biking distance. A visit to the beautiful city hall of Gouda or the famous Heksenwaag in Oudewater is highly recommended. The nature house is also an excellent base for visits to larger cities such as Amsterdam, Leiden, The Hague, Delft, Rotterdam and Utrecht. Due to its central location in the country, various museums, zoos and amusement parks are within easy reach. Keukenhof, just 35 km away, is an absolute must in the spring.Surrounding the farm is a large garden, pond, walking paths, picnic tables, seats and a "tea" greenhouse, where guests can enjoy the greenery undisturbed. There are also several fruit trees.
