Our detached guest house is cozy and homey and you will find everything you need for a relaxing stay. You can cocoon, sleep in, watch movies, enjoy cooking, play games: there is plenty of entertainment in the cottage. The TV has Chromecast and USB connectivity. There is an LP player with many records for an evening of spinning records and there are several board games and magazines. The kitchen area is very fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, kettle, coffee maker (nespresso cups), french-press, juicer and of course all other drinking, eating and cooking utensils. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower. In the fine bedroom you will sleep soundly in the double bed. There is a spacious closet for all your belongings. Towels and bed linen are included. For long stays these will be changed by arrangement, feel free to ask! We have 2 bikes that can be used for free.
Nature and surroundings
Our detached guest house is located on our private property, in the countryside surrounded by meadows and greenery, on a special road with a tunnel of trees. Behind the cottage is a terrace where you can sit and enjoy the flower garden, the wide view over the meadows, the singing of the birds and the playing hares in the distance.If you want to go out there is plenty to see, do, eat and drink in the area! Sea & beach of Callantsoog is nearby at 7km. Forest and beach of Petten 10km and the dune forests of Schoorl 17km. The nearest village 't Zand with supermarket and bakery is 3km away. Schagen with cafes and restaurants, shopping and events is 5km away. Cheese city Alkmaar is only 30 minutes away and Amsterdam an hour. Den Helder is just under half an hour, from where the boat to Texel departs.
