Nature house in Torsby

There were a lot of pluses and we definitely had a good time but because of the cars that we heard well and the dog that we did find exciting the score is a little lower.

Er waren een hoop pluspunten en we hebben het zeker fijn gehad maar door de auto's die we goed hoorden en de hond die we toch wel spannend vonden is de score iets lager.

Charming log cabin, nicely located on the lake with reasonable privacy. Comfortable chairs allow you to sit by the water and cooking over the fire was also very nice. The fireplace was also very cozy. There was a less alone in the world feeling because of the quite busy road that was closer than expected and which you could hear well, and because of the sawmill that was opposite which also made the view a little less beautiful. We had our own bathroom in the owner's house, but we had to pass a large rottweiler growling and barking at a bulkhead in the doorway next to the bathroom, which we both found really unpleasant. The owner was not very understanding. What was very nice was that she gave us a topper for the bed because it was not so good, we got some potatoes from her garden and we were also allowed to do some laundry, so that was certainly very sweet.

Charmante blokhut, mooi gelegen aan het meer met redelijk privacy. Met comfortabele stoelen kun je lekker aan het water zitten en koken boven het vuur was ook erg leuk. De open haard was ook erg gezellig. Er was een minder alleen op de wereld gevoel door de best wel drukke weg die dichterbij was dan gedacht en die je goed kon horen, en door de houtzagerij die er tegenover lag wat het uitzicht ook wat minder mooi maakte. We hadden onze eigen badkamer in het huis van de eigenaar maar we moesten daarvoor wel telkens langs een grote rottweiler die grommend en blaffend tegen een schot sprong in de deuropening vlak naast de badkamer wat wij beiden echt onprettig vonden. Hierin was weinig begrip vanuit de eigenaar. Wat wel heel fijn was dat ze ons een topper gaf voor op het bed omdat die niet zo lekker lag, we kregen wat aardappels uit eigen tuin en we mochten ook een wasje draaien, dus dat was zeker ook heel lief.
