Nature house in Roderwolde

Welcome to Bellefleur, a charming 75 m² vacation home on our rural property in Roderwolde, near Groningen. The home is tastefully and personally decorated, featuring many beautiful colors. It features a spacious living room with a separate kitchen, one bedroom, a bathroom, a private entrance, and a private garden with a large patio. At Bellefleur, you’ll enjoy peace, space, and the true outdoor life. Our farm is home to horses, dogs, cats, goats, pigs, and chickens. We also have a retirement home for older horses. It’s precisely this combination that makes our place special. Nature lovers can enjoy plenty of hiking and biking in De Onlanden and the Leekstermeer area from Bellefleur. Groningen is also nearby for a day trip to the city. If you’re looking to unwind even more, you can use our Finnish sauna, which can be booked separately. Bellefleur is a wonderful place to slow down, enjoy nature, and find complete peace and quiet.

The nature house is beautifully located in the heart of the Kop van Drenthe. Roderwolde is a small village in the municipality of Noordenveld and lies on the southern edge of the Leekstermeer area. Here, water sports enthusiasts can swim, surf, or sail to their heart’s content. In just fifteen minutes, you can be in the forests of Roden/Norg for a lovely hike or sitting at one of the outdoor cafes in the lively student city of Groningen. Groningen is also easily accessible by bike (30 minutes). Whether it’s the Groninger Museum, the Martini Tower, or simply strolling through Groningen’s charming courtyards, there’s something for everyone here. The Drents Museum in Assen (a 25-minute drive) inspires young and old alike with stories about archaeology, art, and history. The nature house is located in a nature and water retention area spanning approximately 3,500 soccer fields, consisting of grasslands, marshes, swamp forests, and creeks. Numerous unique animals live here, such as the great egret, the hen harrier, the bald eagle, the bittern, and the European otter.
