Welcome to our unique cabin, which we designed and built ourselves, tucked away in an old standard-tree orchard on our cozy recreational farm. Wake up to sweeping views of the beautiful West Frisian landscape and end the day with a breathtaking sunset. In the evening, light a fire, enjoy the fresh air, and experience the true outdoor life. Our cabin is situated in a lovely rural setting, just 5 km from the IJsselmeer and 10 km from the historic towns of Enkhuizen and Hoorn. The cabin is cozy and fully furnished: a comfortable double bed with a pull-out single bed underneath for a (big) child, a cozy dining area, and a kitchenette with a stovetop, sink, and coffee and tea-making facilities. A small heater provides warmth on colder days, ensuring comfort even during the cooler seasons. For your convenience, there’s a small patio next to the cabin, and on the property you’ll find shared bathroom facilities with a toilet and a hot shower just a short distance away.
Nature and surroundings
In the Stable, our large covered space, you can also cook with more room and kitchenware, do the dishes, eat indoors when the weather is bad, play games, or read a book. Additional coffee and tea-making facilities are also available here. Horses, sheep, a pet cow, goats, chickens, and cats roam our farmyard, and they all love to be petted. Nearby is the IJsselmeer, where you can swim, hike, and bike, and visit the charming VOC towns of Enkhuizen, Hoorn, and Medemblik. It’s also a perfect base for exploring North Holland, including Marken, Volendam, the Wadden Islands, the coast, and the North Holland polders (Beemster, Schermer, etc.)—and, of course, Amsterdam.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
