The cabin among the trees can be considered a hiker's hut but one on stilts, tough and adventurous. The dimensions are 6x8 meters and you sit under the slope of the roof. The whole has a high-quality finish with double glazing and roof with thick insulation and with a loam finish. You have on two sides a very nice view over the orchard towards the Geul valley and a side valley of the Geul valley. There is a small refrigerator, coffee maker, table and two sitting areas. Often this little room on stilts is also used for inspiration or brainstorming sessions. It has a special spear also because you have to climb up a ladder (so you should not be too fat) and when you are at the top you have to close the hatch and you are as it were locked in your own bubble. There are no curtains because you are lying or living in a tub and the house is on stilts with no neighbors. The heating works on elektricity. The plumbing is 50 m away in the main buildings. By default, there is no shower.
Nature and surroundings
The cabin is on the outside of the Birds of Paradise in Cottessen. That is very southern in the hills of South Limburg. You have a very nice view over the Geul Valley and Vijlenerbos. A fantastich walking area and close to the multi-day Krijtlandroute, Dutch Mountaintrail, grenslandroute, mountain biking and many other walks. Also of course suitable for mountain biking. The cabin among the trees can also be a sleeping place for 4 people with an added air bed. The bed is on the ground, not suitable for people who find luxury very important. The cabin is purposeful , special, attractive and adventurous. No pets.
