This naturehouse is a small and cozy campsite in the foothills of the Serra da Estrela Mountains, Central Portugal. A campers paradise surrounded by nature and the ideal spot for you to explore this beautiful region. They offer you a budget friendly stay at 80 km from Coimbra, close to Oliveira do Hospital and near the picturesque village Meruge. Because we are quit small the welcome is warm and personal. We have a very cosy bar with a nice terraces were we offer tasty homemade food 4 times a week (needs to be ordered upfront), a swimming pool, good sanitary installations with warm water, free Wifi, barbecues, playing area for small children, … The cabana is well equipped and cosy.
Nature and surroundings
First there’s the “Serra da Estrela”, almost 2000m high, with its huge granite stones and unforgetable views, the perfect scenery for a trip with your car or on your motorbike or for the hikers, to make a beautiful walk. For visitors who like to be active there is plenty to do: hiking, horse riding, rock climbing, cycling, canoeing, paddle bord and carting. There are also a few rivers that offer pittoresque river beaches to relax during warm summer days. In the region there are very nice, small and old vilages to visit: Meruge (the centre is build on a huge rock), Linhares (old castle), Bobadela (roman arena), Piódão (the whole vilage is build in shist), … There’s also a few bigger city’s that are worth while to pay a visita t about na hour driving distance: Coimbra (one of the oldest universitys of Europe) and Viseu (with its beautifull catedral and nice shopping area in the centre).

You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 28 days before arrival. For bookings with an arrival date within 28 days, free cancellation is available within 24 hours of booking. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the total cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 28 days before arrival: 100% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:00 PM and 8:30 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.

- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
