Nature house in Rotterdam

It's a van, and there was more space than we expected. Personally, I would have made a few adjustments, but I also realize that's mostly just for convenience. And there was a reason we wanted a cabin in nature :)

Het is een bus, en er was meer ruimte dan we verwacht hadden. Ik zou persoonlijk wel enkele aanpassingen hebben gedaan, maar realiseer me ook dat dat vooral gemak is. En we wilden niet voor niets een natuur-huisje :)

A lovely spot by the water. There’s an airport across the street, but honestly, it didn’t bother us much—if at all. You could probably hear the cars on the highway humming even more clearly.
Other than that, there were mostly cyclists.
Above all, lots of greenery, singing birds, splashing waterfowl, the sound of boats, and the wind rustling through the trees. So lovely!

Heerlijk plekje aan het water. Er ligt een vliegveld aan de overkant van de weg, maar oprecht weinig/geen last van gehad. De auto's van de snelweg hoorde je mogelijk nog beter zoemen.
Verder vooral veel fietsers.
Bovenal veel groen, zingende vogels, spetterende watervogels, ruisende boten en de wind door de bomen. Zo fijn!

A fully equipped and cozy camper. Comfortable beds. A beautiful spot by the water. And conveniently located between Delft and Rotterdam. Very easy to reach by public transportation. Bus stop 200 meters away. Weekdays only. Helpful owner. We used the hot tub several times. So all in all, we had a great week.

Compleet en gezellig ingerichte camper. Fijne bedden. Mooie plek aan het water. En mooi centraal gelegen tussen Delft en Rotterdam. Met openbaar vervoer heel goed te bereiken. Halte op 200m. Alleen door de week. Behulpzame eigenaar. Verschillende keren gebruik gemaakt van de jacuzzi. Dus al met al een fijne week gehad.

It’s a beautiful spot by the water with plenty of birds to see and lovely views. Boats also passed by regularly. What I hadn’t expected was that the RV is parked very close to the road, so you can hear traffic noise and planes from Rotterdam Airport.

Het is een mooie plek aan het water waar genoeg te zien is aan vogels en mooi uitzicht. Ook kwamen er regelmatig bootjes langs. Wat ik niet had verwacht is dat de camper wel heel dicht aan de weg staat en er dus wel geluid van het verkeer te horen is en ook vliegtuigen van Rotterdam airport.

Despite the heat of the past few days, it was still a wonderful spot. Fortunately, there was a bit of a breeze, and the hot tub was a great way to cool off. The heat inside the RV wasn’t too bad thanks to an extra fan we’d set up. There was plenty to see on the water these past few days: rowers, pleasure boats, and large push boats and cargo ships.

Ondanks de hitte van afgelopen dagen toch een heerlijke plek. Gelukkig stond er wel wat wind en was de jacuzzi heerlijk om af te koelen. De warmte in de camper viel reuze mee door een extra geplaatste ventilator. Op het water was deze dagen genoeg te zien. Roeiers, pleziervaartuigen en grote duw en vrachtboten.

Beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere by the water. It can get a bit noisy on the street side at times.

Prachtig uitzicht en rust aan de waterkant. Aan de straatkant soms wat onrustig
