Beautiful house in a beautiful setting! The house is cozy, spacious and has a wonderful view. The hosts are attentive and approachable. Nature is incredibly beautiful in that part of Drenthe. Many places just seem to be as it always was; old trees, beautiful fields, even just driving through the county roads from one village to another. And oh yes, Meppel and Assen are also great shopping spots for traveling teenagers while you can hike and/or bike in the area yourself. All in all, a perfect place to recharge.

Prachtig huis in een prachtige omgeving! Het huis is sfeervol, ruim en heeft een heerlijk uitzicht. De gastheer en vrouw zijn attent en benaderbaar. De natuur is ontzettend mooi in dat deel van Drenthe. Veel plekken lijken gewoon nog zo te zijn zoals het altijd was; oude bomen, prachtige velden, zelfs als je alleen al door de provinciewegen rijdt van het ene naar het andere dorp. En oh ja, Meppel en Assen zijn ook nog prima shopplekken voor meereizende tieners terwijl je zelf in de omgeving kan wandelen en/of fietsen. Alles bij elkaar een perfecte plek om op te laden.

Beautiful lounge on the first floor. The bed in the smallest bedroom could use a new mattress.

Prachtige lounge op de eerste etage. Het bed in de kleinste slaapkamer zou een nieuwe matras mogen.

Very nice house, fully equipped. At 5 minutes walk you are in the forest. Beautiful walks. Very quiet environment.

Heel mooi huis, van alle gemakken voorzien. Op 5 minuten wandelen zit je in het bos. Mooie wandelingen gemaakt. Heel rustige omgeving.

Quietly located vacation home on the outskirts of the old idyllic Drenthe esdorp Uffelte. Nature at your fingertips. You walk / cycle from the house into the woods. The area has much to offer with vast forests and heaths and old villages. Cosy towns like Steenwijk and Meppel and the wetlands of the Weerribben (Giethoorn!) provide the necessary variety and are within reasonable cycling distance. We stayed two weeks in the vacation home and have not been bored for a moment. Pleasant split-level house. Pleasant and attentive hosts.

Rustig gelegen vakantiewoning aan de rand van het oude idyllische Drentse esdorp Uffelte. Natuur onder handbereik. Je loopt/fietst vanuit de woning zo het bos in. De omgeving heeft veel te bieden met uitgestrekte bossen en heidvelden en oude Drentse esdorpen. Gezellige stadjes als Steenwijk en Meppel en het waterrijke natuurgebied van de Weerribben (Giethoorn!) zorgen voor de nodige afwisseling en liggen op redelijke fietsafstand. Wij verbleven twee weken in de vakantiewoning en hebben ons geen moment verveeld. Aangename split-level woning. Prettige en attente gastheer en -vrouw.
