This nature house is located on the outskirts of the village of Melden, in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes, at the foot of the legendary Koppenberg and has a view of the Scheldt. The B&B has two rooms ( 1 room for 3 persons and 1 room for 2), with private bathroom and has a spacious breakfast-dining and sitting area with fireplace, overlooking the Scheldemeersen and the picturesque church of Melden. Breakfast can be requested on site. The area is very rural and traffic-free and is perfect for hours of walking, cycling or horseback riding. The classic square farmhouse, with a base dating back to the 17th century, houses the separate wing of the B&B, our family home and our training stable for mainly Iberian horses. Melden is located in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes. Tranquility still reigns here and hikers and cyclists are in charge. With its numerous hills, idyllic views and green oases, the region is a dream world for nature lovers. So you don't have to travel far at all to recharge your batteries. With thousands of hectares of forests, the possibilities for a relaxing walking or cycling tour in unspoiled nature are endless. Some examples are the koppenbergbos in Melden, the music woods in Ronse and the kluisbos in Kluisbergen. Once you have explored all the woods and are ready for a drink or a snack, you can do so with us or in one of our local cafes and restaurants.
