Situated on the edge of Natura 2000 park, this country cottage was once the blacksmith's home. It sits high above a pond that is host to kingfishers, frogs and beavers. In the vicinity are the ruins of the stables and manor house as well as a public park with ancient monument to St Anthony. There is fishing available on our ponds in the Spring and summer with Ice skating on them in the Winter. The area is rich in bird and insect life. This is a wild secluded oasis for those tired of the city noise.

Nature and surroundings

There is a campfire place for bonfires, and walkway onto the pond. A long alley of lime trees brings you into the park behind the house. With the bicycle you can cycle to see the wooden church in Jeruzal. There is an organic farm nearby in Lipiny selling delicious rocket salad and carrots etc. We produce honey from our own hives, and jam from the Mirabelki trees. There is horse riding about 20mins drive away at Stania Kasztan. Apart from horses, they have pigs,goats, cats, dogs, ducks. The Red House is only 1 hour drive West by motorway into Warsaw. From here you can stop on your way East to Bialowieza forest or North to Mazurian lakes. Take your pick, quiet country side or the buzz of Warsaw city lights!
