The beach of Callantsoog is within cycling distance 10 kilometers. Groceries can be done in Anna Paulowna 5 kilometers. In the atmospheric town of Schagen you can combine your shopping with fun shopping. Within an hour you are on Texel. In Schoorl and Alkmaar you are within half an hour. Walking Network North Holland offers very nice walks, some of which also start near your cottage. Den Helder with the naval museum, rescue museum is also close by. Actually we always hear from our guests that the house is wonderfully quiet, if you want to look up the crowds there is a lot in the area. You do need the car or bike, which is inherent to a nature house that are never really in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Bikes are for rent these are delivered to the location and also picked up again. In season there is an outdoor pool as an extra on the park where you may use free of charge. The house also includes a fishing pass fishing from your own dock.
