Nature house in Ponte da Barca

Nature House is one of four apartments on the complex. It is an attractive apartment of 45m2 with a spacious living room/kitchen. The windows overlook the garden with hundred-year-old olive trees. The bedroom has a large double bed (1.6×2.0), ensuite bathroom with toilet, powerful spacious shower and sink overlooking the estate of the Quinta. Stairs down from the living room give access to your private south-facing terrace and garden overlooking the Lima Valley and the mountains of the Peneda Gerês nature reserve.

At the foot of natural park Peneda do Gerês lies Quinta Olivia, a farm from 1778 on its own grounds of 3h. In 2011 the farm was converted by the Dutch owners into a comfortable vacation home with 4 vacation apartments. During the renovation as much as possible of the historic character has been preserved. Especially the traditional northern Portuguese building style with large, jagged granite rocks stands out, making each apartment unique in layout and design: modern, light, spacious but still very cozy. Privacy has been taken into account as much as possible and each apartment has a private terrace with seating area overlooking the mountains of the Peneda do Gerês nature reserve. There is a large communal pool and free wifi.
