There is a fire pit where you can barbecue on summer evenings, you can optionally and in consultation rent a fishing boat with a guide or plan a relaxing boat trip with a picnic. A fifteen-minute bike ride takes you to the historic Hanseatic city of Kampen. There you can enjoy a cup of coffee on the Plantage, take a nice city walk or visit Het Stedelijke Museum. Urk, Elburg and Zwolle are less than half an hour away. Furthermore, you can make beautiful walks or bicycle tours here. As mentioned above, you can take a boat trip with a captain to several nice towns nearby, for example Giethoorn or Hattem.
