Nature house in Ursel

There’s nothing to complain about regarding the cottage. It was very clean, everything was clearly labeled, and, most importantly, the air conditioning worked great—we used it a lot during what has been the hottest week of 2026 so far. We also had great communication with the landlord; it was nice that she checked in halfway through the week to see if everything was to our liking. It was also very nicely decorated.
A big plus was that it was surrounded by sturdy fencing, so our three dachshunds could sniff around to their hearts’ content without us having to worry.

Op het huisje is niks aan te merken. Heel proper, alles duidelijk aangegeven en vooral een goed functionerende airco, die heel veel werd gebruikt in de tot nu toe warmste week van 2026. Heel goed contact ook met de verhuurster, fijn dat ze halverwege de week eens polste of alles naar wens was. Heel leuk gedecoreerd ook.
Grote plus was dat het met stevige bedrading rondom was afgemaakt zodat onze 3 teckels naar hartelust konden rondsnuffelen zonder dat we ongerust moesten zijn.

The house is located a short distance from the main road, so you have plenty of peace and quiet, and the only cars that pass by are those belonging to people who own or rent vacation homes there.

Het huis ligt een klein stukje van de grote baan, waardoor je wel alle rust hebt en er enkel eens een auto passeert die daar ook een vakantiewoning heeft/huurt.

What a fantastic place! We had a wonderful week! House was fantastic with a sauna and jacuzzi. Owner was also super helpful, definitely recommended! Also nice and close to Ghent and Bruges for a day out.

Huisje was fantastisch zo met een sauna en jacuzzi.
Eigenaresse was ook super behulpzaam, zeker een aanrader!
Ook lekker dicht bij Gent en Brugge voor een dagje uit.

Very clean and completely furnished. The landlord responded quickly and adequately to questions and comments. Fully fenced garden allowing our dog to run loose without problems. Good beds. Sauna and jacuzzi are also super. Nice roof on the house to sit outside all day early in the season.

Zeer proper en compleet ingericht. De verhuurder reageerde snel en adequaat op vragen en opmerkingen. Geheel omheinde tuin waardoor onze hond zonder problemen los kon lopen. Goede bedden. Sauna en jacuzzi zijn ook super. Fijne overkapping aan het huis om al vroeg in het seizoen de hele dag buiten te zitten

Quiet location, but an occasional plane does come over from the nearby small airport. The cottage is detached and overlooks a meadow in front. We have seen squirrels.

Rustig gelegen, maar er komt wel af en toe een vliegtuigje over van het nabijgelegen kleine vliegveld. Het huisje is vrijstaand en heeft aan de voorkant uitzicht op een weiland. We hebben eekhoorns gezien.
