Nature house in Hoek van Holland

A fantastically decorated bunker and a very special experience. Everything has been thought of with great attention to detail.

Een fantastisch ingerichte bunker en een hele bijzondere ervaring. Aan alles is gedacht met veel oog voor detail.

Prachtige bunker, mooie omgeving!

In the cottage is very comfortable, but in winter the area is just a little less attractive.

In het huisje is het heel comfortabel, maar in de winter is de omgeving gewoon wat minder aantrekkelijk.

Because it is winter you are more inside; the cocondo is then a very comfortable quiet place and you do not lack anything. The underfloor heating combined with the pallet stove is well thought out, so I didn't feel cold at all. Nice details in the design and funny games lying around. Next to the parking lot (very close by) is a tasty fish stall, which was also open. The area directly I find less attractive although you are next to an interesting villa district and there is now construction of a new boulevard, within walking distance, which seems to me a good addition. In winter time the beach is a little less lively, but they have a few cozy tents sitting around that seemed very nice to me (but they are closed in winter). Monster beach is also a nice beach to visit and that is only a short drive away. All in all I am another experience richer and really a big compliment to the landlord.

Omdat het winter is ben je meer binnen; de cocondo is dan een heel comfortabele rustige plek en je komt niks tekort. De vloerverwarming in combinatie met de palletkachel is goed bedacht, waardoor ik het helemaal niet koud heb gehad. Leuke details in het ontwerp en grappige spelletjes die er liggen.
Naast de parkeerplaats (heel dichtbij) zit een lekkere viskraam, die ook open was.

De omgeving direct vind ik minder aantrekkelijk al zit je wel naast een interessante villawijk en wordt er nu gebouwd aan een nieuwe boulevard, op loopafstand, wat mij een goeie toevoeging lijkt. In de wintertijd is het strand wat minder levendig, maar ze hebben een paar gezellige tentjes zitten die mij heel leuk leken (maar die zijn dicht in de winter).
Strand Monster is ook een mooi strand om te bezoeken en dat is maar een klein stukje rijden.
Al met al ben ik weer een ervaring rijker en echt een groot compliment aan de verhuurder.

Is it also possible to follow the wildlife camera footage live? We could not find this, seemed very nice if this could be done.

Is het ook mogelijk om de wildcamera beelden live te volgen? Dit konden we niet vinden, leek ons erg leuk als dit zou kunnen.

This nature house lives up to its name. The Cocondo really felt like a little cocoon. The bunker is fully equipped, beautifully and practically furnished. Everything neat and clean. Lovely beds and bedding, even though you are just outside the neighborhood. You have the idea, when you are at/in the bunker, that you are far away from civilization. Hence really a cocoon feeling, nice in our own bubble! Nice to get a breath of fresh air on the beach (walking distance). We have had fantastic days in the Cocondo!

Dit natuurhuisje doet zijn naam eer aan. De Cocondo voelde echt als een coconnetje. De bunker is van alle gemakken voorzien, mooi en praktisch ingericht. Alles net en schoon. Heerlijke bedden en beddengoed.
Ook al zit je maar net buiten de wijk. Je hebt het idee, wanneer je bij/in de bunker bent, dat je ver weg bent van de bewoonde wereld. Vandaar echt een cocon gevoel, lekker in ons eigen bubbel!
Lekker kunnen uitwaaien op het strand (loopafstand).

We hebben fantastische dagen gehad in de Cocondo!
