Nature house in Eerde

One of the guests went home to sleep because it was unbearable in the cottage. Taking a shower is a challenge. The surroundings were very beautiful.

The surroundings and the fishing waters are beautiful. I had a wonderful time fishing and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The cottage itself left quite a bit to be desired. I fully appreciate the charm of a beautiful, authentic, and rustic atmosphere, but some decent cutlery, plates, and so on It wouldn’t hurt. And this cottage isn’t suitable for rental on hot days or for more than two people. With a little care and passion, it could be turned into something wonderful. But they’re certainly not there yet.

Landlord’s response: Hi Andries, thanks for the constructive feedback. It’s a shame it wasn’t quite to your liking. That’s what we’re striving for. We’ll definitely take your tips on board!
As for the heat: under normal circumstances, the cottage stays quite cool on its own. You were here during the hottest weekend of the year. Unfortunately, when there’s a “Code Red” heat warning, it gets very hot here too. But who knows—maybe air conditioning will be an option in the near future!

De omgeving en het viswater zijn prachtig. Heerlijk gevist en genoten van de rust. Het huisje zelf liet best wat te wensen over. Ik heb best begrip voor mooie authentieke en rustieke uitstraling, maar een beetje fatsoenlijk bestek en borden end. Kan geen kwaad. Ook is dit huisje niet geschikt als verhuur bij warme dagen en voor meer dan 2 personen. Met wat aandacht en passie is er iets geweldigs van te maken. Maar daar zijn ze zeker nog niet.

Reactie verhuurder: Hoi Andries, dank voor de constructieve feedback. Wat jammer dat het niet helemaal naar wens is geweest. Daar streven we wel naar. We nemen zeker de tips mee!
Wat betreft de warmte: het huisje is onder normale omstandigheden van zichzelf heel koel. Jullie waren in het aller warmste weekend van dit jaar bij ons. Helaas is het bij code rood ook bij ons erg warm. Maar wie weet behoort een airco in de nabije toekomst tot de mogelijkheden!

Beautiful location, your own private island, some overdue maintenance. If you have to go to the toilet at night, you will have to turn on the light inside the house. And bring slippers because the floor in the shower consists of 4 paving stones. Nice weekend away with 4 friends. To be repeated

Mooie locatie, je eigen prive eiland.
Verder enigzins wat achterstallig onderhoud. Als je s'nacht buiten naar de wc moet zul je binnen in huis het licht moeten aanmaken. En slippers meenemen want de vloer in de douche bestaat uit 4 stoeptegels. Mooi weekendje weg geweest met een 4 vrienden. Voor herhaling vatbaar

The location and the cottage are top notch. Just back to basics without much luxury. There are a few things that could use some love but it functions. Coal bbq available and a large fire bowl with a wheelbarrow of wood. You can fish beautifully but there is a little difficulty with the vegetation present, tis not for nothing a nature house. All in all a nice weekend

De locatie en het huisje zijn top. Even terug naar de basis zonder veel luxe. Er zijn een paar dingen die wat liefde kunnen gebruiken maar het functioneert. Kolen bbq aanwezig en een grote vuurschaal met een kruiwagen hout. Je kunt er mooi vissen maar er zit een kleine moeilijkheidsgraad aan met de aanwezige begroeiing, tis dan ook niet voor niets een natuurhuisje. Al met al een mooi weekend gehad
