WalkingThere's no shortage of walks! walking junctions is a good basis, but be sure to also take a look at DrongengoedBeleven and visit-Aalter. We can also heartily recommend Natuurpunt's walks: Maldegemveld and Keigatbos (and for even more treats, check out their overview brochure). Moreover, Natuurpunt organizes every first Sunday of the month a nature and landscape walk in and around the Maldegemveld and the Drongengoed (free for members and non-members). Additional suggestions can be found through DrongengoedBeleven and the Aalterse 8, and the lesser-known pearls we will reveal to you personally :-). Recently, the first e-bike route in Flanders was inaugurated: the Norbertijnenroute, which connects the Drongengoed with Ghent.
