The nature house is located in the countryside by the river Vlist behind our farmhouse with unobstructed views over the polder Krimpenerwaard in the green heart of the Netherlands. The cottage (max 4 pers.) has a living room with open kitchen, a large bedroom and a small bedroom on the ground floor. Above these rooms is a sleeping loft where adults can not stand upright. The living room is equipped with TV and WIFI internet connection. Furthermore, it has a spacious terrace and private parking. The garden house has a wood-fired sauna and hot tub with panoramic views over the polder. To get it up to temperature you need 3 hours of heating. The wood is in stock and included. Even though it’s a small village, there are plenty of places to eat and drink, and it’s close to nearby towns and just 9 km from Gouda.
The host was very friendly, sociable, and helpful, and always up for a chat.
The cute Golden Retriever that lives there came by regularly to say hello.
The cottage was very nice and spacious, and the Wi-Fi worked great. Everything you need besides groceries is provided, such as dishwasher tablets and dish soap. A filter coffee maker (coffee) and a Senseo machine are available.
There are plenty of windows offering views all around, and every door has a screen door. There’s an additional garden shed with a spacious sauna, next to which is a jacuzzi under a covered area.
