This nature house is a spacious, unique and cozy Loft / Studio for 2 persons (52 m2) with sheltered veranda (18 m2) in the countryside of Drenthe, on the Hondsrug and near charming villages like Exloo. Everything is ground floor, there is a bedroom with a 2-person box spring, a luxury bathroom and a very complete kitchen. There is a cozy sitting area with a large dining table and comfortable lounge chairs. Everywhere hangs cozy lighting. There is central heating, but also a lovely wood stove for atmosphere and warmth. The cottage has a radio / CD player and a flat screen TV and of course there is Wi-Fi. For the hot days there is AIRCO. You will find the bed freshly made, there is plenty of bath and kitchen linen available and the coffee and tea are free, as is the wood for the cozy wood stove! The terrace is spacious and completely private. There is a garden table with 2 chairs, two reclining chairs and there is a hammock. In the garden there is a lovely lounge set where you can enjoy the morning sun.
Nature and surroundings
We live since 2021 in the countryside of Drenthe and at the end of the nature reserve 'the Hondsrug'. Far from the noise of everyday life, where 'Naoberskop' is still natural and people still greet each other. Our nature house is extremely rural with unobstructed views over the fields and completely private under old birches overlooking the beautiful pond. Looking for a natural environment and peace and quiet we found "Waterschap Weerdinge" a beautiful small "estate". There where happiness is still very common and Time seems to have stood still. go out! Go for a lovely walk on the Molenveld in Exloo or nearby in the endless Valtherbos forest. Take a bike ride to old Orvelte or eat an ice cream in Odoorn. Visit the ancient Hunebedden, or go back in time at the prison museum in Veenhuizen. Go shopping in the cozy center of Emmen and afterwards grab a terrace on the Market Square. Do a day of wildlife in Wildlands and just relax 'at Muis Thuis'.
