Nature house in Venhorst

The facilities were great, but we were lured there with false information. We wanted to go fishing in the pond, but there were no fish except for some small rudd, since the pond isn't stocked or the fish are still too young. Plus, there was the noise from the F-35 fighter jets.

Super ausgestattet, aber unter falschen Informationen gelockt wurden. Wir wollten angeln im Teich, keine Fische, außer kleine Rotfedern, da der Teich nicht besetzt wird, oder noch zu jung ist. Außerdem der Lärm von den Kampfjets F 35.

Hello, unfortunately, there was no peace and quiet. The property is located along an army flight path, and fighter jets were flying right up to the property until noon. We complained because we weren't given this information. They wouldn't budge, so we left early on Monday without a refund. Not recommended!

Hallo, leider war nichts mit Ruhe. Das Objekt liegt an einer Flugstrecke der Armee und die Kampfjets flogen bis Mittag bis an das Gelände ran. Wir haben uns beschwert, weil diese Info nicht an uns gegeben wurde. Kein einlenken, wir sind früher, am Montag abgereist ohne Gutschrift. Nicht zu empfehlen!

The nature house is beautifully laid out, and the location is an oasis of peace and quiet with plenty of space.
It’s the perfect spot for fishing.
In the nearby village of Venhorst, you’ll find a supermarket with friendly staff and a good selection of items.

Ideale plaats om te vissen.
In het nabije dorp Venhorst vind je de supermarkt met vriendelijk personeel en een goeie aanbod van artikelen.

We came here mainly to fish, but unfortunately, it was a big letdown. There were few to almost no fish in the pond, though we did see a few koi carp at the surface.

Over the course of three days, the four of us caught only two small carp and a few roach. We really hadn’t expected that.

Wij kwamen hier vooral om te vissen, maar dat viel helaas erg tegen. Er was weinig tot bijna geen vis aanwezig in de vijver, al zagen we wel een aantal koikarpers aan de oppervlakte.

In drie dagen tijd hebben we met vier vissers slechts twee kleine karpers en een aantal voorntjes gevangen. Dat hadden wij echt niet verwacht.

What a beautiful, secluded house! It has everything you need; it’s clean, tidy, and very well-maintained, and there’s plenty of space. The house is in perfect condition.

There are plenty of extras, such as a soccer ball and a badminton set for outdoor fun. There’s plenty of entertainment indoors as well, with various board and card games.

They’ve thought of everything: for example, there’s a vending machine where you can grab a soda, beer, or kindling for a small fee if you’ve forgotten to bring any! There’s even a set of towels waiting for you in the shed!
And you can also use that shed to charge your bike battery, store your gear, and more.

In short: highly recommended for families and families with children.

Wat een supermooi, afgelegen huis! Alles is aanwezig, het is schoon, netjes en zeer verzorgd, en er is ontzettend veel ruimte. Het huis is perfect onderhouden.

Er zijn veel extra’s aanwezig, zoals een voetbal en een badmintonset om buiten lekker bezig te zijn. Ook binnen is er genoeg vermaak, met diverse bord- en kaartspellen.

Aan alles is gedacht: er staat bijvoorbeeld een automaat waar je tegen vergoeding een frisje, biertje of aanmaakhout kunt pakken indien vergeten.! In de schuur ligt ook een handdoeksetje klaar!
En die schuur mag bovendien gebruikt worden voor het opladen van je fietsaccu, opslag en dergelijke.

Kortom: echt een aanrader voor gezinnen en families.
