Nature house in Zeegse

Welcome to our nature house! In a unique location in beautiful Drenthe, we’ve had the opportunity to build our dream home. We’d love to share this place and experience with you, which is why we decided to build a guesthouse. It’s a brand-new vacation home for four people with breathtaking views. You’ll look out over the farmland and be treated to the setting sun. From March through November, cows graze in the backyard, and with a little luck, you’ll witness the calves taking their first steps after birth. Our chickens, goats, ducks, pigs, and pony also provide plenty of entertainment! The cottage, which has its own entrance, features a living room with a kitchen, a bathroom, a toilet, a bedroom (for two people), sleeping accommodations on the loft (also for two people), and a private terrace. The cottage is equipped with all the amenities you could want, including Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a rain shower, a TV, a stereo, a coffee bean machine, an oven, and private parking. In short, come relax and enjoy your stay with us in the countryside!

This nature house is located in the beautiful Drentsche Aa landscape. From the vacation home, you can walk right out onto the Drenthe heath, where Drenthe heath cows, sheep, roe deer, birds, beavers, and all the other natural wonders await you. The area offers kilometers of hiking and biking trails! Think of the Zeegser Dunes, the Gasterse Dunes, and the Ballooërveld. In addition to the heathland directly across the way, Zeegse also features a beautiful forest, a sandy plain, and, of course, the meandering Drentsche Aa stream. After a delightful walk or bike ride, you can relax in our picturesque village, where you’ll find a variety of restaurants and cafes. The neighboring village of Zuidlaren is also definitely worth a visit and offers a wide range of shops and restaurants. Visiting museums, movie theaters, and shows is also an option. For example, the city of Assen (Drents Museum) is just 10 minutes away, and Groningen (Groninger Museum) is only 20 minutes away.
