Nature house in Gelenau

Our cabin is made of 100% wood in glue-free, it has a bathroom with shower and toilet (towels are included). We only use solid wood for our furniture. The beds are made of metal-free solid wood and a natural latex mattress ensures a restful sleep.

Many beautiful cycling and hiking trails lead through Gelenau and the surrounding area. You can set off in various directions from the hiking and biking station. Popular hiking routes lead to Amtsberg, Kemtau, to the B 95 to Auerbach to the "Tischl" or to Burkhardtsdorf. The Brettmüllerweg trail takes you to Herold and Ehrenfriedersdorf, the so-called Plattenstraße leads you along the Thum-Herold-Gelenau circular route and the Wilischthalweg trail takes you into the picturesque Zschopau valley. There is a game reserve right next to the Zinipi. With its fallow deer, it attracts many walkers. Especially in spring, after the birth of the young animals, the game reserve becomes an attraction. Children particularly enjoy watching the little fawns playing. A footpath leads around the 4-hectare game reserve and several seating areas invite you to linger. From the bridge, you have a beautiful view over the entire area.
