Very lovely place with equally lovely hosts.

Gertie received us very warmly. Our dog could/should run free immediately. Now our Border Collie listens very well and will not chase the stray chickens, cats or the like. The cottage is tastefully decorated and fully equipped. The bed is lovely, so the next day rested for a new day. The bedroom is very quick to get warm with the air conditioning, so do not suffer cold. Tip: 2 separate single comforters on a double bed is not fine for couples who do like to lie close together. The outdoor kitchen also has a nice atmosphere. Simple cooking works fine with the two-burner stove and the small oven. Fresh eggs were ready upon arrival. There is plenty of choice with the chairs and the bench outside where you would like to sit. All in all, we enjoyed our short stay immensely. Gertie, a big thank you for sharing your beautiful special place in South Limburg!

Gertie ontving ons heel hartelijk. Onze hond kon/mocht direct lekker los lopen. Nu luistert onze Bordercollie heel goed en zal ze niet achter de loslopende kippen, poezen o.i.d. aan gaan. Het huisje is sfeervol ingericht en voorzien van alle gemakken. Het bed ligt heerlijk, dus de volgende dag weer uitgerust voor een nieuwe dag. De slaapkamer is zeer snel warm te krijgen met de airco, dus kou lijden hoeft niet. Tip: 2 losse 1-persoonsdekbedden op een 2-persoonsbed is niet fijn voor stellen die wel graag dicht bij elkaar willen liggen. Dan zou een 2 persoonsdekbed zeer welkom zijn.

Ook de buitenkeuken ademt een fijne sfeer. Eenvoudig koken lukt prima met het tweepits-kookplaatje en het kleine oventje. Verse eitjes lagen klaar bij aankomst. Er is met de stoelen en de bank buiten keuze genoeg waar je graag wilt gaan zitten. Al bij al hebben wij enorm genoten van ons korte verblijf. Gertie, een dikke dank voor het delen van jullie mooie bijzondere plek in Zuid Limburg!

The location is in the back, making it very quiet and you can enjoy nature sounds to the fullest. The log cabin itself is beautifully situated, with the view of the animals, the owner's garden and the landscape radiating a lot of peace. For nature experience, the log cabin is wonderful. We went out for 2 days (beautiful walks in the area. From the cottage you can immediately enjoy all the beauty that south Limburg has to offer. There are many castles nearby with beautiful castle farms. The Gulpdal is also very worthwhile). If we were at the log cabin, the outdoor life continues, delicious. Tip: The view from the back of the cabin is also beautiful. There we have just 2 chairs put down in the morning. Then you look with the morning sun on Limburg clean. As an animal lover is extra enjoy with so many animals around you. They are very sweet and cuddly.

De locatie is achteraf, waardoor het er heel rustig is en je volop van natuurgeluiden kunt genieten. De blokhut zelf ligt mooi, waarbij het uitzicht op de dieren, de tuin van de eigenaresse en het landschap veel rust uitstraalt. Voor natuurbeleving is de blokhut heerlijk. We zijn 2 dagen op stap geweest (mooie wandelingen in de omgeving gemaakt. Vanuit het huisje kun je direct al genieten van al het moois wat zuid Limburg te bieden heeft. Er liggen veel kastelen in de buurt met prachtige kasteelhoeves. Het Gulpdal is ook zeer de moeite waard). Als we bij de blokhut waren gaat het buitenleven door, heerlijk. In de avond tot laat bij een vuurtje gezeten.
Tip: Het uitzicht vanuit de achterkant van de blokhut is eveneens prachtig. Daar hebben wij even 2 stoeltjes neergezet in de ochtend. Dan kijk je met de ochtendzon uit op Limburgs schoon. Als dierenliefhebster is het extra genieten met zoveel dieren op je heen. Ze zijn heel lief en knuffelbaar.
