In the atmospheric town of Schagen you can combine your shopping with fun shopping. Within an hour you are on Texel. In Schoorl and Alkmaar you are within half an hour. The North Holland Walking Network offers beautiful walks, some of which start near your cottage. Den Helder with the naval museum, rescue museum is also close by. Actually we always hear from our guests that the house is very quiet, if you want to look up the crowds there is a lot in the area.
