Our vacation home is located in the middle of a forest, on the edge of lake Sonnevijver and in Rekem voted 'The most beautiful village in Flanders'. This beautiful region in Limburg is the place to be for cycling tourists, hikers and horse riders. But also for a city visit or an afternoon of shopping you are at the right place, Maastricht and Maasmechelen are just 10 minutes from our vacation home. What makes this house truly exceptional is the breathtaking private sauna of top quality. Relax in this luxurious sauna with wood stove and enjoy a beautiful view over the lake.

Our house can accommodate 6 people. In bedroom 1 there is a double bed. In bedroom 2 there is a double bed and a single bed with the possibility of making a double bed. Furthermore, the house has 1 bathroom with shower and bath, a separate toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, a sitting area with television and DVD player, reading corner and 2 sunny terraces. It was really nice and with the sauna as a huge bonus. Maastricht nearby. Only two points of attention are: - the heating upstairs in the biggest room, it cannot be turned off. That is not pleasant - the toilet, which stinks during the whole day.
